Mardi Himal Trekking is one of the most awaited, fascinating legendary trekking destinations, which is considered as low elevation and moderate trekking trails inside the foothills of Annapurna region. Mardi Himal trekking route leads you through the prosperous village, dense forest with verities of flora and fauna, the experience of the country lifestyle, phenomenal beauty of nature. Mardi Himal trek was officially opened in 2012 for the trekker. This trekking route is a hidden treasure of Annapurna region which could be done within a short time frame by all type of trekker. The less crowded touristic destination consider as unseen gem where tourist will be literally lost with the phenomenal beauty of new opened touristic hub. The trail goes along small winding paths, the breathtaking ridge of mountain, amazing landscape which change abruptly into the high mountain with jaw-dropping views of majestic white Himal.

Mardi Himal trek is noted as one of the lowest trekking peak approved by the government of Nepal. From the high camp elevation about (3500m to 4000m ). we can explore about 3-4 hour trek which leads us towards Mardi Himal base camp, which offers us tremendous close-ups views of the entire Annapurna range and hanging glacier. Difficult ascend will take us to the summit of the Mardi peak, where we can enjoy the most panoramic magnificent white mountain. This trekking peak absolutely no need of early climbing experience and equipment. Mardi Himal treks remain open through the year. The vast open Himalayan pasturelands, Rocky George, river valley, alpine landscape, terrace farms lands make the trekking route more famous.

Outline itinerary 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (827m/2,700ft): approx 6-7 hours

Day 03: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2100m/6,720ft): 45 minutes drive, approx 4-5 hours trek

Day 04: Deurali to forest camp (2,520m/8064ft):  approx 4- 5  hours

Day 05: Forest Camp to low camp (2970m/9504ft): approx  3-4  hours

Day 06: Low camp to high camp (3540m/11,328ft): approx 3-4 hours

Day 07: High camp to upper viewpoint via Mardi Base Camp (4500m/1476ft), return back to high camp: approx 7-8 hours

Day 08: High camp to Siding Village (1700m/5440ft): approx 6-7 hours

Day 09: Drive to Pokhara  approx  2-3 hours trek, 2 hours drive 

Day 10: Free Exploration day at Pokhara

Day 11: Pokhara Kathmandu domestic flight (approx 30 mins) 

Day 12: Fly back home or other travel Destination.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Arrival in Kathmandu and you will be meeting at the airport by our representative who will be waiting with Mercy Holidays Cardboard, and escorts to the particular hotel. After check in we will offer the welcome drink and after you settle into the hotel. Depending on your international flight if you at morning time you will get opportunities to explore Thamel. Before that, there will be a group briefing with your trekking leader. He will discuss in details about and co-ordinate any last minute arrangements. 
Stay overnight at star rated hotel in Kathmandu (B&B) Bed and Breakfast.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (827m/2,700ft): approx 6-7 hours
After breakfast, we will transfer to the tourist Bus Park which is nearly by our hotel. We drive on Parthiv highway towards the beautiful lake of the city called Pokhara. You will not feel bored because the journey by bus towards will be more interesting while passing the beautiful scenic tour bring you Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2100m/6,720ft): 45 minutes drive, approx 4-5 hours trek
After breakfast, drive for about 45 minutes to Kande on Pokhara Baglung highway. The trail climbs for about 1 ½ hrs to the ridge at 2,060 m. The clearing in the forest with lodge settlement is known as ‘Australian camp’. The place is scenic with the eye-catching view of Annapurna range and Pokhara valley. The trail further winds through the rhododendron forest to the mountain pass called ‘Deurali’. Deurali is overlooking into the Modi Khola valley wedged between Annapurna South and Mardi Himal / Mt Fishtail.

Day 04: Deurali to forest camp (2,520m/8064ft):  approx 3-4 hours
After spending the beautiful morning in the ridge top village of Deurali, we head off the main Annapurna trekking trail and follow the forested ridge to Forest camp. Since this is a new trekking destination, there are no teahouses along the way and we need to carry pack lunch and sufficient water. The day’s walk in the rhododendron forest is beautiful with the gradual uphill.

Day 05: Forest Camp to low camp (2970m/9504ft): approx 3-4 hours
The trail gradually climbs through the rhododendron forest following the ridge. The low camp has got a couple of tea houses in the clearing of the forest. The view of Mt Fishtail and Mardi Himal appears much closer. You find yourself closer to clear blue sky with the view of layers of Himalayan foothills and sweeping valley towards the south. Note: You can trek 1 more hr to Badal Danda (Cloud Hill) above the tree line in the consent of guide for the better view.

Day 06: Low camp to high camp (3540m/11,328ft): approx 3-4 hours
The trail further climbs along the ridge towards Mardi Himal and Mt Fishtail. From Badal Danda, we leave the tree line and arrive in a shrubby alpine zone. Snowcapped peaks of Annapurna South, Huinchuli and Fishtail loom in a distance above the deep valley on either side. High camp is a small pasture land after the climb with 3 lodges. Here you find yourself above the clouds, sensational views and closer to snowcapped peaks.

Day 07: High camp to Mardi Base Camp (4500m/14763ft), return back to high camp: approx 7-8 hours
The day trip is more difficult than other days with a steep climb and long walk. The trail becomes more vertiginous at some points with uneven and steep rocky steps. The first steep climb will take about 3 hours to the ridge top which is marked as MHBC (Mardi Himal Base Camp). However, the real base camp will take about another 2 hrs along the ridge. The view is amazing all along the ridge. While Mardi Himal and Mt Fishtail appear right above us, view of Annapurna I, Gangapurna and Annapurna III also appears at a distance.

Day 08: High camp to Siding Village (1700m/5440ft): approx 6-7 hours
In the morning after breakfast and great views itself from the High Camp, we walk down to Low Camp and we take a different route to complete a circuit, from Low Camp there is a trail that goes down to Siding village rather than going back down Mardi Himal back to Kokar. Siding is a traditional Nepalese village and still very much away from the busier tourist treks and it is likely we will stay at Lodge owned by High Camp Hotel. It is a wonderful cultural experience finding out more about village life and we will probably eat dhal baht in the evening with the family in their kitchen. If time permits, we walk through the village to see the culture and their traditional houses.

Day 09: Trek to Lumre, drive to Pokhara( 2-3 hours trek, 2 hours drive )
From Siding, we walk out to the road head at Lumre, on the way from Siding you will pass the villages of Kalimati and Ghalel. Kalimati is mainly a Brahmin village with Ghalel and Siding mixed Brahmin and Gurung. At Lumre we will meet our jeep organized by us in advance to drive you back to Pokhara. Explore Pokhara

Day 10: Free Exploration day 
Pokhara is known as a city of the lake, we can do the verity of adventure and other more things over there.  You can visit peace pagoda, international mountain museum, David fall, Mahendra cave, and another most exciting place. Also, you can do multiple heart throbbing adventures activities like parading, bungee jump, cycling, bike tour and many more.

Day 11: Pokhara Kathmandu Domestic flight approx flight (25 to 30-minute flight)
Today we will catch an exciting flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. About half hour flight offer you the majestic views of Himalayas. After landing on Kathmandu airport your trekking leading will escort into our hotel in Kathmandu. You will get free time to wonder Thamel or you can buy survivor for your friends and family from the land of Himalaya (Nepal). Either you can relax at the hotel; it will depend on your wish and desire. An evening we will go for the farewell dinner offer by Mercy Holidays

Day 12 Fly back Home 
Your trip will come to an end today after breakfast. Your leader will be on hand to advise and assist with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination.
