The Kailash Mansarovar journey starts from Kathmandu, where you enter the land of Tibet, crossing the Rashuwagadhi-Kyirung border via bus. Mercy Holidays offers the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Package from Kathmandu starting at just NPR 165,000 per person. The cost is valid for the 2026 yatra, and an increase in the USD exchange rate will increase the cost. Also, this Kailash Mansarovar Yatra itinerary is based on normal day-visa processing; in case of an urgent visa, an additional cost is required.

In case of cancellation requirements, the written notice must be sent to our office. No verbal cancellation is entertained. In case of a cancellation letter before 45 days of the departure date, 25% of the cost will be deducted. Meanwhile, cancellation before 30 days of the Yatra deducts a 50% deduction.
Note: No refund is provided if you cancel in less than 15 days before the departure date.

We advise you to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, cancellation, etc. we do not have any insurance policies, but it is available from an India-based insurance company.
If you wish to change your tour, you must inform our staff at least 30 days before the tour. Any extra charge or loss incurred due to such a change will be borne by you.
We may be obliged to cancel your trip in case of issues such as border closure, permits not issued or cancelled by the government, war, riots, civil disturbances, strikes, natural disasters, or terrorist activities or threats thereof; or any other situation. Under such circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible if we can offer you an alternative trip of comparable standard or make a refund of the money paid to us after deducting the expenses that were spent to make the bookings of the flights, visas, permits, hotels, and vehicle bookings. A clear bill of the expenses will be provided to you so that you will be able to claim the insurance.
However, we can be under no other liability to you in such cases. Sometimes, Chinese government personnel will refuse to give you entry even if you have a permit if they think you are not eligible based on their criteria. Please do not start your journey until you get confirmation of your permit.

Pack fleece jackets, insulated sweaters, and down jackets to maintain body heat during cold.
Female Pilgrims are advised strictly not to wear saris during this yatra.

Pilgrims must ensure that they are in the best shape and fitness for a successful kailash Parikrama Yatra. As the yatra requires visiting high altitudes and long hours of walking in steep and challenging sections, one with asthma, heart problems, or any other problem must consult and get a fitness declaration for the yatra.
Due to the high-altitude region, the probability of experiencing symptoms of discomfort, nausea, exhaustion, and sleeplessness is common. In such a situation, you are required to mandatorily stay 2 nights at Manasarovar for acclimatization.
To prevent or avoid altitude symptoms, we suggest drinking plenty of water, being calm, and avoiding exercise. Also avoid exercise, drink alcohol, or smoke while preparing for the tour. Further, we provide a Gamow bag to prevent symptoms of altitude sickness during the tour.

Therefore, Mercy Holidays and its counterpart shall not be responsible for any change or alteration in the program due to unavoidable circumstances such as landslides, road blockages, floods, snow, political unrest, delayed arrival, sickness, or accidents.
