Trip Overview

Mercy Holidays provides a life-changing spiritual journey by introducing you to the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra package for 2026 from Kathmandu. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026 takes you to a sacred and one of the most revered destinations in the world by Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Bon followers. This sacred Yatra is a combination of devotional journey, cultural exploration, high-altitude adventure, and exploration of the unique landscape of Tibet (the Roof of the World).

The Kailash Mansarovar journey starts from Kathmandu, where you enter the land of Tibet, crossing the Rashuwagadhi-Kyirung border via bus. This journey is adventurous and exciting with a view of the unique landscape of the Tibet region. As you reach Gyirung county in Tibet, you take time for acclimatization to adjust your body to the high-altitude atmosphere. From Gyirung, you pass Saga to reach the Mansarovar lake (4550M), where you perform sacred rituals, take a holy bath, and increase your spiritual awareness.

Following your visit at Mansorovar lake, you travel to Darchen and start the Kailash Parikrama (Kora) from Yamddwar. You perform the Kora by circumambulating Mount Kailash by trekking 52 Km. During the course you reach the challenging Dolma La Pass (5,630 m) and get to observe the scenic beauty of the vast Himalayan Plateau, Mount Kailash’s north face, and remote settlements. The challenging Kailash parikrama is equally challenging as it provides a meaningful and safe experience for devotees seeking inner peace and spiritual transformation and washes away lifelong sins.
